Precise and permanent marking
Laser engraving is a proven method for permanently marking materials such as metal, plastic, or coated surfaces. Through targeted material removal, precise indentations are created, ensuring a scratch-resistant and durable mark. Laser engraving is ideally suited for industrial applications where resistance and detail accuracy are crucial.
Advantages of laser engraving
Permanent marking by material removal
High resistance to abrasion, heat, and chemicals
Precise and detailed engravings
- Suitable for many materials
- Non-contact and wear-free processing

How laser engraving works
Laser engraving is a precise process for permanently marking or processing materials, using a highly focused laser beam. This beam strikes the surface of the workpiece and heats the material locally to such an extent that it either evaporates or melts, thereby being selectively removed. Control is usually computer-assisted, allowing even complex patterns, texts, or images to be implemented precisely. Depending on the material—such as wood, metal, glass, or plastic—the laser's effect differs, for example, in the form of color changes or material removal.
The contactless processing results in hardly any mechanical stress, making laser engraving particularly suitable for delicate and detailed applications.
